Hotel Relais Dei Normanni

We are a couple of young guys, we used SMARTBOX and we slept only one night in this hotel. The advantages are: the SPA, very good and equipped, with however the flaw of a MAXIMUM USE TIME of 75 minutes, which does not allow you to fully relax; the view is pretty and the welcome was very welcome. As for the DEFECTS: at breakfast we were not greeted properly, tables were dirty and not set (we were forced to sit at a table that was not ready, and we were EMBARRISED by a waiter who scolded us for the table we had chosen, despite no one took care of seating us anywhere. Inattentive service, rude in our opinion due to our young age.). The bread, on the other hand, was very old.

Hotel located on Monte Sant'Angelo, very nice. There is a terrace where in the evening my boyfriend and I could admire the stars, the outdoor swimming pool is very beautiful and panoramic, behind it there is also an area with lawn and trees where there are other sunbeds. The rooms are spotless and the staff responds immediately to any request and need, is kind and professional. What about breakfast, the desserts and croissants are delicious and the panoramic view is truly suggestive. It was an amazing stay! The structure is not brand new but is very well kept.

The hotel is very large and is divided into two buildings, the first where there is also the restaurant and the concierge, the second where there are other rooms and the Spa. It is in an excellent panoramic position a stone's throw from the picturesque center of the town and a splendid and imposing semi-ruined castle. Our room was quite spacious, with air conditioning, bathroom with shower and a shared terrace. The furniture is a little dated but in good condition. The small fridge is useful. The Spa is located in the basement with a large window overlooking a green space. It's potentially perfect but: - the cold water tub did not contain cold water but at room temperature - the tank from which the essential oils were supposed to be released was not working - the buttons to operate the hydromassage lances in the pool are not in the pool within reach of customers but hidden in the herbal tea corner outside the pool - furthermore on the 15th and 16th of July there was a young hotel employee on duty with a rather unfriendly manner and who thought of everything except taking care of the customers and in fact she was almost never in the spa room and I had to personally call her when leaving from outside both for the herbal tea service and to operate the lances and who even turned off all the machines a quarter of an hour before the center closed! The international buffet breakfast was excellent and well assorted. The hotel's concierge service is also excellent.

Kindness, hospitality and cleanliness. Nothing else to add because everything was perfect, the staff were very kind and helpful, a very welcoming environment with a plentiful and delicious breakfast, and very importantly the cleanliness of the external environments, of the rooms and of the spa. A real corner of paradise located in a very pretty village characterized by a historical, ancient, almost mystical aura. To crown it all, in addition to the reality that surrounds the relais, with the castle and the town itself, is the magnificent panorama that imposes itself as soon as you arrive on site.

Excellent hotel near the center of Monte Sant'Angelo. We booked a room via a Smartbox, the only option available had a surcharge of €40 but also included the use of the spa. The room was large and spacious, with a large shared terrace overlooking the castle and the gulf of Manfredonia (Sky available on the TV). Bathroom a little small but well-stocked, shame about the shower: the side jets didn't work and the hook to hold it up was broken. Very friendly and helpful staff. The spa is a small pearl: a 1 hour and 15 minute relaxation program including saunas, emotional showers, hydromassage and tub with essential oils. A herbal tea of your choice is also offered during the route. It is possible to purchase the mandatory kit to access the spa at reception if you do not have one (bathrobe, slippers, cap). The hotel has a restaurant that offers a fixed price menu for dinner: €25 per person and you can choose a first course, a second course, a side dish and a dessert, drinks not included. Breakfast was good from the point of view of variety and choice but a little disappointing from the point of view of quality (bread dry and too hard to eat, low quality croissants) and organization (there were no labels describing the foods, some things did not correspond to the tag for example cream croissants in the chocolate croissants part). However, the view from the breakfast room is stunning.
